About The Position

We are looking for a People & Site Manager to lead our People function and help us scale the organization across Israel and the US.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining HR business partnership, organizational development, manager enablement, performance management, employee experience, and site operations.

You’ll work closely with the leadership team to translate company strategy into effective people plans, identify organizational gaps early, and build practical processes that support a high-performing, growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to plan the company's hiring and workforce needs based on business priorities and expected growth.
  • Lead and manage the quarterly goal-setting and OKR process across global teams, ensuring company strategy is translated into clear plans, measurable goals, and consistent follow-through.
  • Own and continuously improve the employee onboarding process, including a structured 90-day plan, clear checkpoints, feedback, and a formal decision at the end of the onboarding period.
  • Lead the company's performance review processes and make sure decisions and follow-up actions are implemented across teams.
  • Support managers with day-to-day people-management challenges, including feedback, employee development, team dynamics, difficult conversations, and performance issues.
  • Build practical learning and development initiatives for managers as the company grows.
  • Identify organizational gaps, recurring challenges, and areas where teams are not working effectively together, and work with leadership and external organizational consultants when needed.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the organizational pulse and proactively raise issues, risks, or areas that require attention.
  • Lead relevant employee surveys and use the findings to recommend and implement improvements.
  • Identify and lead initiatives that strengthen the employee experience, workplace environment, and overall company culture.
  • Help create consistent People practices across our Israel and US teams while taking into account the needs of each site.
  • Oversee the external finance operations team, ensuring the HR and Operations budgets, financial processes, and reporting are managed effectively and aligned with company priorities and budget.
  • Lead and develop direct reports across Talent Acquisition and Operations, and expand the team as the company grows.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as an HRBP, People Partner, HR Manager, or in a similar People role at a growing technology startup.
  • Strong experience working directly with managers and supporting them through people-management and performance-related challenges.
  • Experience leading performance reviews, onboarding, employee development, and other company-wide People processes.
  • Experience working in a growing organization with teams across different locations, preferably Israel and the US.
  • Strong business understanding and the ability to connect company priorities with people and organizational needs.
  • Structured and analytical approach, with the ability to work with data, metrics, plans, and budgets.
  • Ability to identify issues early, form a clear point of view, and turn it into practical action.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the confidence to handle sensitive or difficult situations.
  • High level of ownership and independence.
  • Full professional fluency in English, with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with US-based teams and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing a small People, Recruiting, or Operations team.
  • Experience working in healthtech, biotech, life sciences, or another company operating at the intersection of technology and science.
  • Background in an analytical environment such as technology, consulting, data, or industrial engineering.
