About The Position

Imagene AI is seeking a pharma-experienced oncology leader to bridge clinical development and product strategy for our clinical trial intelligence, powered by our multimodal foundation models.

Our platform integrates histology, DNA, RNA, and routine clinical data to learn each tumor’s response profile and simulate drug-arm outcomes. The clinical trial intelligence translates these capabilities into actionable insights for oncology teams, enabling forecasting of key late-phase metrics, improving confidence in program prioritization, and optimizing study design.

This role sits at the intersection of oncology clinical development and product leadership. You will define how the clinical trial intelligence is applied across drug development and shape its evolution into a critical decision-support product for pharma teams.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Development Strategy: Lead Imagene’s clinical strategy for oncology drug developers by aligning our platform with real-world development workflows, asset strategy, and key clinical decision points.
  • Product Strategy & Ownership: Own the clinical product vision by translating development needs into clear roadmap priorities and ensuring alignment with pharma workflows.
  • Trial Optimization & Study Design: Guide the application of the platform to optimize study design, endpoint strategy, and execution within real-world clinical development contexts.
  • Evidence Generation & Scientific Rigor: Define and oversee validation strategies to ensure product outputs meet the scientific and operational standards expected in oncology clinical development.
  • Regulatory & Strategic Guidance: Provide strategic guidance on regulatory considerations and support partners in shaping endpoints, populations, and data strategies using product outputs.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the bridge between clinical, product, ML, and commercial teams, ensuring customer needs directly shape product evolution and roadmap priorities.

Requirements

  • MD or PhD with oncology training and substantial experience in clinical development within pharma or biotech.
  • Proven leadership across oncology trials, including asset strategy, study design, and evidence planning.
  • Deep understanding of translational oncology, biomarkers, clinical endpoints, and pharma decision frameworks.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with clinical science, regulatory, and translational teams.
  • Strong interest or experience in shaping products or platforms used in clinical development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with modeling and simulation, advanced analytics, or AI-driven tools in clinical development.
  • Background in contributing to or leading product strategy in a biotech or healthtech environment.
  • Experience with biomarker-driven development or digital biomarker integration.
  • Strong network across oncology R&D leadership.
