Head of Product Marketing

About The Position

Imagene is seeking to hire a Head of Product Marketing to integrate scientific concepts with marketing strategies. This role offers a unique opportunity for scientists passionate about turning complex scientific ideas into engaging narratives for audiences ranging from highly technical experts to non-technical business executives. As the Head of Product Marketing, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including science, product, and marketing, to plan and create impactful content and strategies that resonate with professionals in the biopharma and oncology spaces.

We are looking for a passionate scientific storyteller who shares our vision of leveraging the convergence of science, medicine and state-of-the-art technologies to transform cancer research and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute scientific marketing strategies to support strategic communications, product launches, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Create evidence-based, engaging content such as scientific posters, whitepapers, blog posts, webinars, presentations, and case studies.
  • Translated complex scientific data and insights into impactful messaging and content, tailored for biomarker, translational, clinical development, and commercial teams.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, data-science and science teams to align marketing narratives with the company’s scientific innovations and strategic goals.
  • Create product supporting materials including user guides, training materials etc.
  • Act as the scientific voice for Imagene, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all sales and marketing fronts.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive insights, and emerging technologies in oncology and computational biology.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in molecular biology, genetics, biomedical, or related fields. PhD. – significant advantage.
  • 6+ years of experience in product marketing, with a minimum of 2 years in our field (precision oncology, biomarker research, or a related scientific domain). 
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver scientific content for business and marketing purposes with measurable impact.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for scientific storytelling.
  • Proficiency in creating a variety of content formats for different channels and audiences.
  • Familiarity with the life sciences and oncology landscape, with a deep understanding of the biopharma target market.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with clinical trial studies / biomarker studies in the biopharmaceutical/diagnostics industry.
