Information from other sources
We may receive business contact information about you from event organizers, our business partners, recruitment providers and publicly available professional sources (for example, company websites and professional networking profiles). We may combine it with the information described above.
4. How we use information
The table below explains why we use personal data. For individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and other places where the law requires it, it also gives the legal basis we rely on.

7. International transfers
Imagene is based in Israel and has operations in the United States. Our service providers may process personal data in other countries. The European Commission and the United Kingdom recognize Israel as providing an adequate level of data protection. When we transfer personal data from the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland to a country without such recognition, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or a recognized certification framework. To get a copy of the relevant safeguards, contact us.
8. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless the law requires or permits us to keep it longer. In general:
- we keep business contact and inquiry records while we have an active relationship with you or your organization, and for a reasonable period afterwards;
- we keep marketing preferences until you change them, and we keep a record of your opt-out so that we can honor it;
- we keep job application data for the duration of the recruitment process and, unless you ask us not to, for up to two years afterwards so that we can consider you for future positions, unless local law requires a shorter period; and
- we keep security logs for a limited period, unless we need them to investigate an incident.
When we no longer need personal data, we delete it or anonymize it.
9. Security
We use technical, organizational and physical measures that are appropriate to the risk, to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse and alteration. These measures include encryption in transit, access controls on a need-to-know basis, firewalls and bot protection. No system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send to us over the internet.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, and subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law (including the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Israeli Privacy Protection Law), you may have the right to:

- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
- ask us to delete your personal data;
- ask us to restrict our processing of your personal data;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and object at any time to direct marketing;
- receive the personal data you gave us in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing before you withdrew it; and
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Israel, this is the Privacy Protection Authority.
To stop receiving marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails or contact us. To exercise your other rights, email info@imagene-ai.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act on your request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
11. Additional information for U.S. residents
Some U.S. state privacy laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, give residents rights over their personal information. Those rights can include the right to know what personal information we have collected about them, and the right to access, correct and delete it. They can also include the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or of its use for targeted advertising.
In the past 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Information we collect: identifiers, professional or employment-related information, internet or other electronic network activity, approximate geolocation and inferences about your interests. We collected them from the sources, and for the purposes, described in this Privacy Policy. We disclose them to the service providers and other recipients described in How we share information.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some analytics and marketing cookies may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under certain state laws. You can opt out by rejecting those cookies in our cookie settings. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out request for the browser that sends them. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years old.
You can submit a request by emailing info@imagene-ai.com. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of the agent’s authority and verify your identity directly. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.
12. Children
The Website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16 years old. If you believe that a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
13. Third-party websites
The Website links to websites and services that we do not operate, such as journal publishers, social networks and embedded video platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to read them.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If we make material changes, we will take additional steps to inform you, such as posting a notice on the Website, and we will ask for your consent where the law requires it.
